Admission and Assessment | Print |

Do you think that you, or someone you love, may have a problem?

Your first question is, "What do I do next?"

1. Call 1-800-227-3953

When you call Rimrock Foundation, one of our Admissions Counselors will spend time with you, answering your questions about our programs and services, and helping you understand the admission process. We will ask questions and gather information that enables us to determine what kind of help you need and how to access it in the most efficient manner.

2. Pre-Certification

If our Treatment Program options are appropriate for you and your loved ones, our Insurance Department will verify coverage and benefits by contacting your insurance provider for you. We will explain those findings to you in detail. We will also give you a complete explanation of other financial considerations, including options and costs that may not be covered by your insurance provider. If we have the necessary information, verification of benefits can usually be accomplished the same day. After your questions about the treatment process and any financial issues have been answered, and we have determined that we can provide the appropriate services, an appointment will be made to admit the patient to one of our Inpatient Treatment Programs.

3. Information

Before admission we will provide you with detailed and comprehensive information about how the program works and what to expect. We make every effort to relieve any anxiety, worry or apprehension about treatment. Before the patient arrives, we will make sure that you have a list of what to do, what to bring, and information about schedules and activities. Our experienced staff will always be available to answer any questions that come up during the process.

4. Arrival for Treatment

Our Admissions Counselors begin the process by interviewing the dependent person and family members who have a stake in the treatment and recovery of the individual in treatment. The assessment process consists of collecting Biological, Psychological and Social (BioPsychoSocial) information, personal and family history, as well as any medical history and previous treatment information. A medical assessment may also be required for some individuals with special health concerns.

5. Assessment

This process normally takes place over 1-2 days. The information gathered and the results of testing are reviewed and analyzed by our professional staff of counselors and physicians. The results provide a very detailed picture of what treatment options should be integrated into the individual Treatment Plan.

This assessment and gathering of information is absolutely vital to insure that the patient receives the best care possible, tailored to their unique circumstances. Rimrock Foundation has over thirty-five years of experience and has pioneered many of these concepts that are used today by quality care providers across the country. All of this - to make sure you get the best care available anywhere and the best value for your investment in a healthy future.

Please call Rimrock Foundation today at 1-800-227-3953. We will do our very best to help you make the right choice.
